    Robert Klotz of our firm holds a Masters degree in International Business Law. He has had over 20 years experience in representing clients before all levels of Ontario courts. He is a past instructor of Advocacy Skills for the Ontario Bar Admission Course, and has lectured to such bodies as the Canadian Bar Association, the Canadian Institute, the International Bar Association and the American Bar Association on international litigation topics. He has chaired programs on Impact of International Conventions in Canadian Courts, and on International Insolvency, for the Canadian Bar Association; has published the following articles: Proving Foreign Law in Canadian Courts (1994), 1 Canadian International Lawyer 8, and Enforcing Judgments against Foreign States, in 2/1 Suing Foreign States 12 (1991); and has presented the following papers: Canadian Law from an International Perspective, presented at the Klotz Associates annual seminar on Canadian Law for Foreign Consuls and Trade Commissioners (by invitation), 1992 - 1996; Getting Paid in International Sales Transactions, International Bar Association, Committee on International Sales Transactions, New Orleans, 1993; Litigating International Insolvencies, Canadian Institute Conference on Insolvency Litigation, March 1993; Public Policy in International Commercial Arbitration, 1992; Contract and Tort Liability in the International Sale of Goods, International Bar Association, Hong Kong, 1991; Agents and Distributors in International Trade: Ins, Outs and Angles, co-presenter, Hong Kong Canada Business Association, 1991; Enforcement of Foreign Tax Claims, 1990.

    Kristine Holder of our firm was called to the Ontario Bar in 2002, and focuses on the litigation aspects of our insolvency, commercial and international files. She is the co-author of Pre-judgment Enforcement Remedies (Ontario Bar Association, 2002). She is proficient in French.
